Making ice cream at home

  :love:The machine is good to have if you want unique ice-cream flavours which you cannot get from supermarket, but it is quite expensive to make your own ice-cream.
First of all, the price of the cream used is already close to that of a tub of ice-cream, and the quanity is not much, about 1 litre at most, but the thing about making your own ice-cream is just like breads, you can throw in what you want and get unique flavours which you cannot get outside.
Oops, we are :offtopic: again. :bewaremod:  -

  You are so talented!
No, not talented. Matter of interest, I would say.

Let's make ice cream and post in a new thread.
:offtopic: But it would be worth it to make your own ice cream, as we don't really know what are the ingredients that they use

Yes, agree that while it is more expensive to make our own ice-cream, at least we know what goes into the ice-cream, just like our breads! :celebrate: -
Thanks Maid for starting this thread. I'm sure it will be as interesting as the bread thread... :celebrate: and we shall see how many Ice Cream machines fly off the shelves in a few weeks' time.

Ya, realised that we have OTed so much in the bread thread, so decided that it is better to split. All my fault! :oops:Thanks Maid for starting this thread. Yes, would be interesting to see how many machines would fly off the shelves with this thread.

I'm still half-hearted about the machine. So let's see how I will be influenced in this thread to make it 100% FOR the machine.Ya, realised that we have OTed so much in the bread thread, so decided that it is better to split. All my fault!

Been making fresh milk ice-cream without an ice-cream maker.
Need enough ice to line the inside of a large mixing bowl and salt and a medium mixing bowl & whisk to churn the milk.
Itβs actually so easy the kids have been making their own ice creams. -
