i asked him and he says they will read a story from the big book. i think they just did \"Bad Dreams\" then they will do some group writing/ sharing.... drawing in the MLEA book.... some activities all based on that story...

not in this order. you know lah, how my ds1 relates things to me in school are all in patches. not in sequence.

did you need more specifics? I can ask him more...

Yes, my DD1 also has this MLEA book last year but this year they are into Creative writing. But DD2 in PCF Kidergarten is starting to have MLEA Exercise Book too :lol: . She started off with writing title on \"Leader\" - and that is our Singapore President! Then 2nd topic something about the field trip they went to Singapore Flyer, Merlion, Art Museum etc...Quite interesting and DD1 was telling DD2, \"You know what does MLEA stand for? Let me tell you....\" And she went on to dictate for DD2 but DD2 attitude was like,\" Huh? What's that? Never mind lah; Teacher asked me to write so I write lor and hand up to her!\" :lol: Aiyoh, she sure to be \"a pain in the necek\" when she enters into P1 class next year :roll:

well, at least you have a good asst tr in dd1 cos she can help you coach the younger one

talking abt k2 having MLEA, wow, nowadays kindy trs are very well-informed about P1 and general Pr sch practices! they prepare kids v well for P1 indeed. some kids don't even find anything new to learn in P1 cos their kindy seemed to have prepared them for everything!

so different from our time.

Anyway, finally the CA1 is over :celebrate: but me as a blur blur mummy still does not know the weightage of CA1 (10%? 15? or ???) Ask my DD1, she also say,\"I don't know leh!\" :shock: Guess we both is the most \"sotong parent-child\" in the class....

My DD did ok for her 3 subjects - scoring Band 1 for Science, Maths & CL. EL not returned yet...don't know why?? As told by her, the class done well - almost 96% scores Band 1 in the above 3 subjects :celebrate:

Btw, yesterday evening DD passed me a letter regarding PTM - it will be on 26 March 2011. Glad to know it is in March as I feel that if it is after SA1 in May then it will be a bit too late . And also they mentioned there will be changes to time-table and teachers' allocation - hope for the best esp the \"situation\" in my DD's class

Again, this time dear hubby said,\" Ok, this task belongs to mummy - she shall be my representative to see your teachers! How many you seeing this year?\" I looked at him and them walked away :lol:....I dread the idea of waiting so maybe see which teacher has the \"shortest Queue\" and maybe take a number and wait 8).... Mine starts from 9am with Principal's opening address and 10-12.30 meeting teachers...
