Oh good can save the trip head down to the school for either PTM or PPM.
Everything by email communication is fine! -

Well, I said \"this year\", so it means for the whole year. The new principal believes that communication between teachers and parents should be an ongoing process. Hence, you are always free to e-mail the teachers if you have any queries.
Yes..what she said is true. Co-work between teacher and parent is important. -

But the success of this approach also depends on how responsive the teachers are. -

Totally agree. If you go via sms, the response is quick but not so via email. Again, it is very teacher dependent. -

Not all teachers are willing to give us the HP no as they worried we may called them after working hour. -
Agreed with you that not all the teachers would reply or even sms back to confirm. Guess normally I would try to sms them rather than to call them.

I guess we parents have ourselves to blame for this. Parents nowadays are impatient, and tend to call the teachers at the slightest thing that happens.
As employees, we need to \"entertain\" our bosses if they call us, even though we are unhappy inside us.
Imagine if parents were to call the teachers after working hours, what could the teachers do besides entertaining the parents? :scratchhead: There are 30 students in the class. What would happen if 30 parents were to call them? :!: -
Class have 30 students, maybe only 1/3 would be very on to call the teacher.
Another 1/3 totally don’t bother & the remaining 1/3 would be the other way round where teacher call the parents! -

I will not call teacher after working hour as i am a working mother too. I know how it felt unless super urgent stuff then no choice to call.I guess we parents have ourselves to blame for this. Parents nowadays are impatient, and tend to call the teachers at the slightest thing that happens.
