All about Mangoes

It's mango season, but some of the mangos I bought are sour!
What do you do with sour mangos? Are there any good way to use them in cooking? -
How about giving this a try :

for me, when i happened to buy sour mangoes,
i'll make it into mango puddling.

If the sour-ness is bearable, what about eating it with some vanilla flavored ice-cream?

Another way to tackle sour mangoes is to add black sauce and sugar! Shiok!
A bit off topic here. NTUC had Thai Honey Mango promotion yesterday, 3 for $1.99! Super cheap and sweet! :celebrate: -
Is it really sweet? I'll let my FIL know to get some then.
My FIL bought some mangos home, but it wasn't as sweet as we thought it would be... hence this thread!
Thanks for all your suggestions. I was thinking of making Mango Mousse, either on its own or for a cake, but thinking of gathering the ingredients after this busy week... *sighs*
I'll try out your method of the black sauce and sugar, maid, 'cos that's my favourite way of eating Jambu.

I bought 6 bags of 3 mangoes yesterday! Almost gone today. My boys and I can each have 2 to 3 at one go. Really sweet. We are big mango eaters here! Not sure if the promotion is still on today. Is it really sweet? I'll let my FIL know to get some then.

Yes, that's what I like to do with sour mangoes and pineapples and yes, jambu too, though I won't say jambus are sour, but that's the only way we know about eating jambus!

Sometimes if you are lucky, you can get 6 or 7 for $10 at those durian stalls at Geylang, but that cannot beat the 3 for $1.99 at NTUC yesterday!25hourmaid:

Secondly, I doubt there would be anymore good ones left even if the promotion is still on.
I bought my 6 bags first thing yesterday morning at NTUC @ NEX, but by yesterday evening, when I was at NTUC @ AMK Hub, those that were being sold didn't look as good as those that I bought in the morning at NTUC @ NEX.
