Haha, but this IT idiot has been on forums since 2004, so maybe have learnt some tricks along the way? :lol: Used to post pictures of my dog, food etc, so of course have to learn a thing or two along the way, right?

What's so embarrassing about not joining forums until now? :? I joined forums because there was a need to. In fact, come to think of it, I joined forums even before 2004, when I first had rabbits in 2002, followed by my dog in 2004 and the cooking/baking forum (which I am no longer a member of now) much later, followed by hamster forum when I started keeping hamsters. KSP is my latest and most active forum.
Specific forums are useful for getting the info that we need, in my case, as new rabbit/dog/hamster owner then. Really learnt a lot about keeping the respective pets from those forums.
Haha, I am opposite of you. Only discovered FB when my boys and nieces jumped onto the FB wagon. -

That's because you don't keep pets, that's why you don't know about the pet forums.
I am opposite. My FB is as good as dead. Use it occasionally to chat with my nieces and to broadcast to my relatives about extended family events, that's about all. That's why I always tell my friends, no point adding me to their FB!
