LKVM:
I have stopped giving my DS money cause everytime he takes he will buy some drinks or some toy and will remain hungry... so now only home food and no money

it's ok, he will gradually learn to handle it. he just started P1, continue to teach him, he will do very well with your love and guidance! -
ExpatMom:
i hope he will nt be stingy with mommy in future!kabalevsky:
i let him carry some emergency money - for calling me or for extra books or stationery if he lost his- and sometimes his friends would borrow from him. when they forget to return him the next day, he wanted to charge them more! like, with added interest!! i had to tell him that with friends, we don't do that. we just remind them!
That's funny.
He's got the mind of a businessman.
my no.2 is opposite. i guess one takes after the mom and the other the dad? it has to be learnt from somewhere right? these are not inborn, isn't it?? -

Hi LKVM, though we have come to pg 37 of this forum but as far as I know ( correct me if I'm wrong),there aren't many parents with kids in CPS being active hereWas wondering if someone can have a post on the front page with the list of kids who are in Corp primary school..
I have noticed that either Champion or kabalevsky can do that since they have posts in the front page... what do u guys think?
So, I am glad to have known you & kabalevsky who are active in posting here :celebrate:

Yes, LKVM - u are right
so each one of us representing each level in CPS. I hope to have more parents actively involved so we can share & learn from one another.
My Hubby used to tease me,\"Don't ever let e teachers know or else your identity will be \"exposed\" & our DD1 will be \"targeted\"!\" Well, I believe this is a forum meant for viewing own opinions and shall not pose any form of \"threads\" to anyone posting. I have learnt many good tips from other threads and never feel that anyone is out to \"harm\" me :rotflmao: :rotflmao: -
Hi, any parents put their child in an after-school care? What do you think of a school-based after school care in CPS school premise?
-
LKVM:
I think this site is very good and you can keep the identity of your child hidden as much as you like... putting up this info will make others coming to our thread better and good impression for the school can be given
yes, i still feel we need to have some form of privacy cos it's online. so we don't list the kids' names to protect them. and i think so far, we haven't complained about trs or had any form of personal attack, so it's been purely a good learning experience!
champion, u just listing our names with the kids in what level, right? -

hi! are you going to set one up?
i think that'd be very useful for working parents with kids there. but it has to be a very good one, else they'd still rely on other avenues for their kids. if you ask, many parents can list what they think of as \"good\".
i'm a sahm so I don't put my kids in BASC but i have friends who do and they really like those based inside the school cos they don't have to worry about transport and it;s very convenient. -
Hey, great to hear that. If there are demands, I will talk to the new Principal to setup an after-school care in CPS. Hope to hear views from other CPS parents as well. Itβs indeed very convenient for the pupils, save the hassle of travelling out of the school to the BASC.
