Anyway, ya, I like to eat my mangoes as they are, and I find it quite wasteful to use fresh mangoes to make jam. I was just curious how many mangoes will be needed to make 1 bowl of jam. I guess that will be a lot, since you mentioned the other time that you needed so many mandarin oranges just to make a small bowl of jam.
Yes, same here :hi5: like so wasteful to use fresh mangoes for jams, right, especially since they are so good by themselves and such offers are such a rarity.
Yes, I figured that you would need lots of fruits in order to give you a good amount for the machine to work properly. -

Thanks for the lobang, Maid. I just saw this post. So now I'm left with only 2 days... But weekends is not a good time for Giant as it's usually mad crowded. So looks like i'll have to give this a miss. Thank goodness I still have a few mangoes at home. :love:

Hahaha! Seems like you and your family have an overdose of Vit C last week. :lol: :lol: I suggest you go buy in abundance (some green and some ripe ones). This way you can keep your mangoes for a longer period.
No way will I go for the green ones. They remain sour even after they have so called ripened, so I usually go for the ripes ones only, after all, it's no big deal finishing them!
Can you imagine my boys and I finished 36 mangoes in the one week of the NTUC promotion?
