Giant is having a 3-day Thai Mango Promotion, starting from today. 5 for $2.99, definitely cheaper than NTUC's last week promotion at 3 for $1.99. I was at Giant this afternoon (no, didn't buy lah), and saw lots of people grabbing the mangoes, but can't blame them though, such a good deal!

Thanks for the lobang, Maid. I just saw this post. So now I'm left with only 2 days... But weekends is not a good time for Giant as it's usually mad crowded. So looks like i'll have to give this a miss. Thank goodness I still have a few mangoes at home. :love:

Hahaha! Seems like you and your family have an overdose of Vit C last week. :lol: :lol: I suggest you go buy in abundance (some green and some ripe ones). This way you can keep your mangoes for a longer period.

No way will I go for the green ones. They remain sour even after they have so called ripened, so I usually go for the ripes ones only, after all, it's no big deal finishing them!

Can you imagine my boys and I finished 36 mangoes in the one week of the NTUC promotion?

Haha, overdose due to addiction, that's why now suffering from withdrawal symptoms now that the mangoes are gone! :lol:

I am referring to those not so ripes ones too, not those that are totally green. From experience, even though they so-call ripen after a while, they are still a bit too sour for my liking.

Last week, Shop n Save also having this mango offer, 3 for $1.95 but when I went there in the evening all the mangoes already so soft. After being pressed by lots of ppl in the morning, I guess. Plan to go to Giant to try my luck this evening (now still raining) hope the mangoes still available n in good condition. Thanks for sharing the lobang
