Happy Fish Swim School

any comments about this school?
DW is thinking of enrolling DS in their intensive (3 times per week) swimming lesson during the year-end holiday.

They are not really a school per se. More of an agent for swim coaches. They take a cut from the fees.
Found out the hard way after signing up for 1 term. Coach changed after 3 months subject to availability of coachs / students. Coach wasn’t very motivated to teach & progress was very slow for my boy. He even advised us to discontinue with HF & continue with him privately. So I discontinued & looked elsewhere… -
likewise, we also found out the hard way.
there were some issues during the short time DS was with the coach from Happy Fish.
We have changed to another and glad that we have done so as DS is making good progress with this current school. -
Can share how is the charges like?
-
I think for kids, it’s 60 per month.

From what I know they are a swim school but conduct their class at public pool. Instructor may change after each term if feedback of the instructor was not good.
My nephew is currently learning with them. -
the coach that briefly taught DS told us otherwise.
He kept "complaining" that he was "teaching us for free for the first month" as the fee for the first month were kept by the "school". -
Hmmm… I was tempted to send my ds there because it’s quite near my place. Anyway, I have already signed him up elsewhere.

From what I know they do outsource to other instructor when class is full. Didn’t you send your join their premier class?
Been sending my 2 nephews to swimming class. One in Bukit Batok, another in Bishan, both attending premier class from Happy Fish… so far so good…
The instructor at Bukit Batok get replaced by the school permanently last week as feedback was bad. -
premier? :?
how \"small\" is the class size?
the class that DS attended was one instructor to 2 students.
