ksi, ooopss… I just realised that what you bought is the clothes rack rather than the dryer.

I hope that someone can setup a business to ship such items from China.

Another machine that I love is the soya milk making machine, it makes the best soya milk I have ever tasted ! This one I carried back home for my mother 😉

If the prices are marked up too high, people will not be interested.

How about asking your brother-in-law to setup a freight forwarder so that we can buy anything from taobao ?

          😉

Is it very bulky? easy to bring back if travelling to China? Can it be found in Beijing?

Actually, there is a simple way to drying clothes quicker.

When it rains and we can't get our clothes to dry faster, what I do is to direct the fan on my clothes hanging on the bamboo poles. To help dry clothes overnight without a mildew smell, I put the bamboo poles in my living room with the ceiling fan on at a low speed. The air current helps in evapouration and my clothes don't end up with the wet smell.

If it's one or two pieces, I direct my standing fan to face it, and it dries very quickly.

We teach primary school kids that evapouration increases with large surface area, higher temperature, more wind and low humidity. I find that most dryers work on temperature, but a cheaper and less costly method is to work on wind. 😉

                        ksi:

I just bought the Roman one touch hanging rack model 7728, it can hang alot of clothes including bedsheets. Can open into a few sizes depending on amount of laundry to hang. They deliver to my house for me.

I also have a dryer at home but most times I prefer my clothes to see the sun. Dryer is good for rainy seasons, huge items difficult to dry or winter items difficult to dry quickly on racks(throw in dryer to semi-dry first), or urgent items to be dried.

ksi, how's the Roman dryer. Is it good? How long does it take to dry 1 load?

Oops! Sorry for the late reply...yes the Roman dryer is serving my needs well. The time to dry depends on Mr SUN...typically when it is sunny, within the day it dries.
