Most schools have lower intake at phase1 this year compared to last year due to 2003’s lower birthrate. But some schools buck the trend eg. Beacon (+40), Innova (+39) and Greendale (+34) etc. Wow…

Do note that some parents may withdraw their phase1 applications later if they deem that they have a good chance in another choice school which they are eyeing but only eligible in later phases.

So if I am only eligible for Phrase 2C for e.g. for School B, but currently registered for School A in Phrase 1, I can withdraw from School A and go to School B for later phrase registration? How fast is the process to withdraw? Thanks

Good thing being KS parents... We went early morning after dropping off DS1 at school... Was done in less than 20min including filling up form, verifying and submitting documents. Only thing was had to pop by MOE HQ to print out another copy of PSLE results cos couldnt find it around at home, thankfully no queue... And drove back to the school to drop by... All in all, this whole affair took us less than an hour 😎
