I think both sch should be about the same, saw many kids go in happily and come out happily too =D.

i went down to take a look at both,errrr prefer talentplus cher but tot house schedule seems better n cheaper errmmmm but hor any idea what is the minimal age my bb can join? i call their headquater n this lady told me 24mths then can join and not 18mth, is tt so?

Hi, I am thinking of sending my gal for playgroup at Talent Plus Group Preschool. Any mummy or daddy with feedbacks on this group esp their centre at Jurong East?

I send my gal to the 1 @ JW when she is 2yrs old.

Basically the whole grp of kids spend 1 to 2mths crying n the teacher
did nothing but carry them for an 1hr n then the class is dismissed early.

I personally find the teacher isnt v experience n dedicated so we quit the sch after 3mths and i'm glad i made the rite decision

Any recommendation for playgroup in Jurong East or Jurong West area?

We send her to Ichiban (Yunnan) kindergarten but it was converted to CC a yr ago.

My gal is still there but heard they maybe converting to full time CC next yr so now i’m looking for new sch for her.

Wanted to post here and let others know of my experience with TalentPlus school and teachers. After reading and going through a few schools in Sengkang area, I believe that the first and most important thing regarding pre-school are teachers.

I went to TalentPlus as it was the closest to my place. Our initial focus was for our son to have some interaction and if he is able to pick up other skills, that is great. Now, after 6 months in the school, we have decided to withdraw him from this school and send to Tots House, which is slightly further away, from july onwards.

I want to put forward the reasons as objectively as possible.

1. Our son interests have started to change towards the negative. We understand that each child has phases however, these normally last 3-4 weeks. However, for our son they are now becoming his nature. He, earlier used to like to colour but after joining TalentPlus, he refuses to color. He has learnt to hit others (I am not sure if other kids hit him in school) and his overall demeanor has become more aggressive.

2. We have seen that the teachers in TalentPlus are not very attentive towards the kids. If the kid has a slight running nose, they will not wipe his face if any mucus comes out. Few times, he even passed motion and they let him stay in the soiled diaper for more than an hour.

3. The head teacher and management interests are totally capitalistic in nature. They want to push their enrichment classes rather than make the existing class worthwhile. The parents are treated in a condescending manner and the reports on the kids are listing down on the negative points possible, starting from day 1.

We gave the school the benefit of doubt for 2 terms (3 months each) but now I dont think it is fair to us to continue to send our kid to a place where he is forced to do things resulting in him loosing interest in the activities, he used to love.

In summary, I would like to advise the parents to talk to the teachers at the playschool and if possible, dont ever go by the easiest choice. ( Avoid commercial playschools like TalentPlus at all costs).
