My voucher garnering experience: I got some during prior promotions when they have vouchers if you exceed certain amount (there is usually a time lag becos they have to be absolutely sure you aren't going to return the goods); exchanged my points for some; and finally when they messed up my refund for 6 months, they gave me some vouchers.

There is a link for you to check the vouchers you have. And each time you place an order, if a voucher is available, there is a small link on the bottom left hand (plus sign) for you to click and select to use. If you don't qualify (eg minimum amount not met), then the small link won't appear.

Thanks for sharing ! I just went to check and found out that I have 3 vouchers ! Too bad I can only use one voucher at a time. My hubby is now working in China, and I have already asked him to receive 2 parcels for me. Looks like he has to receive another 3 more parcels

Note that the sprees in SMH forum offer the cheapest shipping rates for dangdang , but I don't know how reliable the organizers are. The SMH forum is not properly controlled. There have been many cases of organizers disappearing after collecting the money.

Thanks for sharing ! I just went to check and found out that I have 3 vouchers ! Too bad I can only use one voucher at a time. My hubby is now working in China, and I have already asked him to receive 2 parcels for me. Looks like he has to receive another 3 more parcels

oh yes, vouchers usually have an expiry date; so must keep watch.

btw tamarind, care to share if your orders are sent to workplace (where there is receptionist) or to hotel? I failed to have orders sent to hotel (on prior occasions) and would love to know how to succeed. TIA

Does that means for books, there must be a title with 20 copies. Or in the case for books, does not matter since will be more than 20 copies. But in Singapore custom, once the value of the item is more than $400, it will be subjected to 7% GST. For RMB 4000, it will definitely incurr the GST. Not sure if all the hassle is worth it

Need advice if i were to order on dangdang to deliver to an address in Fuzhou :

If Fuzhou is not included in the list above, will my order be accepted?

He is working at a university and staying at the dormitory. The delivery man always SMS/call him when he arrives, and they arrange for a place to meet in the university.

Someone told me that her hubby successfully received the orders when staying at the hotel. The person receiving the goods must have a China mobile phone card so that the delivery man can call him, and this number must be entered when you place the order.
