Hi Parents,
Those ‘solid’ 非常有墨水 默写 not available from P5. Those phrases are so solid that if kids can apply to their compos, sure to score HIGH marks. I still have them from last year. -

:scratchhead: I am thinking...whatif the school decides to 'up' the standard some more when your ds is in P4, then, ain't I doing a disfavour to underprepare you? :scratchhead: 3 years can have alot of improvements.
Actually by saying that (in bold) you will make some parents more worried.IJJ:
Btw, I have scanned the 默写 for P4. Very solid CL. So far, no model compo book or guidebook is able match the standard. The phrases/sentences are great if the child can apply on compo/speech. I also learn from the list. Anyone wish to have a copy, pls let me know. I wish not to cause unnecessary worry so am not posting now unless the demand is there.
Fear of the unknown is usually more uncomfortable than the real thing.
So may I request, post lah. But I'll take precaution and make sure I'll only read it on the sofa so that in the event that I :faint:, at least my head won't hit the cold hard floor, keke. -

So, no more such solid list for P5? How abt P6? The 6 pages of list for P4 is only for 1st semester. I am wondering how solid will be the list for 2nd semester. I intend to homeschool my kids for CL after our move. Definitely unable to meet this type of standard, but hoping to be at least sufficient to maintain our root.Hi Parents,

Nope...although I know my son won't be able to reproduce all these 墨水 during his compo/oral, I find them interesting. I think I kept the P4 默写.

BTW, when will you be coming back to S'pore ? -
IJJ:
sounds like your move is permanent yaah. not coming back to your roots here....its' good to keep your kid mindful of their CL langauge ..

Hmmm...not sure exactly how long we will be away this time (only God knows). I am skeptical when we return, the kids will be able to meet the CL standard here anot (not talking abt HCL), but, that is not my main concern. I just want them to be able to at least use the basics to explore into our chinese root, whether here or there.

Specially for bro Mark---
A sneak preview should suffice, I guess.
Not all difficult lah. I purposely reduced the size so those who choose not to know do not have to.
