Cherie Hearts

insider:
Did a search and this is their website:
Anyone who is interested about the buyer of Cherie Hearts may go and research on the background of G8 to know more about whether they have any experience running preschools (which is totally different from education of other higher levels).

With the shakeup, it may a good thing that they are taking over afterall. -
DesertWind:
Yup, the uniforms need to be changed!
This was precisely what I thought! My maids from Nations wear such coloured uniforms! So unfortunately I could not get over the colour of the uniform and hence did not even explore further nor consider putting my kid there.... -
This is the letter me and my husband received from centre yesterday. Overall, I think it is their internal problem with current G8education and previous ownesr Sam.I even googled g8 education group just now, finding it is a listed company ,should have strong financial support, right? .Here is the website :http://www.g8education.com
· Cherie Hearts Group International Pte Ltd (CHGI), which is under receivership, is not involved at all in operating the Cherie Hearts childcare centres in Singapore.
·
Cherie Hearts Holdings Pte Ltd owns and operates the franchise business in Singapore, and Cherie Hearts Corporate Pte Ltd owns and operates the centres acquired by G8 Education Ltd.
The reporter may not be savvy in the accurate differentiation between the companies.
·
Both Cherie Hearts Holdings Pte Ltd and Cherie Hearts Corporate Pte Ltd, under G8 Education Limited (public listed on the Australian Stock Exchange), are not associated with CHGI in any way.
·
The receivership of CHGI will not affect the operations at centre level or compromise on standards of care for your child. It is business as usual at the centre. -
Hi, Keendaddy:
I think they changed the uniform this year, right? I have made payment early in Feb, still waiting for the delivery according to their branch principal. I saw the new uniform ,basically, still the light yellowcolor ,however, the design and color for the pants are totally different.
Me too, my daughter with woodlands branch two years ago. I am sure she must learned a lot as I have seen great improvement on her. My experience with that centre and CH is very satisfying.hope this news will not affect the childcare centre operation as mentioned in the news. -
Hi lousycentre,
I agree that you have ur rights to ur own view but pls be responsible for them. There r many cherie hearts centres around n u seem to be generalising all centres as unethical and irresponsible in ur very first post of e forum. Ur intention is definitely questionable n ur familiarity with e banner situation also makes people wonder. Normally, parents wouldn’t even have a 2nd thought about the banners, esp from e perspective u r coming from.
My son is with cherie hearts since 18 months n he will be graduating this year; Hence, I am speaking from someone whose child has grown n benefited from e system. Cherie Hearts is a franchise and I believes that it depends on the individual centres and owners. While it is true that there r some owners who r more business oriented but there r also many who r parents themselves or ex-teachers or early childhood-educators, and genuinely responsible.
I had replied to ur post, not with the intention of starting an argument. Anyway, let this be my last reply to u.[/quote]
Hi Keendaddy,
This is also your personal view of me "seem to be generalizing all centres" regarding my 1st post. I did not mention "all centres" in that post if you had "interpreted" correctly. As for the banner issue, I was one of the passengers sitting in that car which was turning. It was an emergency brake at that time, hence i had a vivid remembrance of that incident. The banner was hang at a traffic turning point and would cause some hazards if the drivers were not alert enough. My driver friend had even called up LTA to check on this. (Does this clear your doubt??) Of course parents would not have a 2nd thought of the banners, so was I, till the unpleasant incident happened.
In fact, I didn’t want to bring the details of this matter up if not for your skepticism over the intention of my post. -
To Parents who judge a school by their school uniform:
Cherie Hearts uniform may not be appealing to u.. (or even gods know which CC uniform).. It does not mean that the CC are not capable in educating the young ones.. I don't think it is fair to judge the standard of the school just because you think the uniform look like what your maid from whichever maid agency is wearing.. I suppose it is more appropriate for parents who have experienced the teaching methods from each centres to comments whether the CC is recommended or not.. You are just too superficial if u judge the school just by the uniform.. Nice designed uniform doesnt mean that the school hav experienced responsible and qualified teachers who can giv our kids the safe, loving and caring environment while we are working..
DS is currently in CH.. I have to say.. the teachers there are of better standards from those in my DS previous childcares.. DS had changed 4 childcare before settling down for CH.. The teachers are patient and guided DS through his Nursery till present.. Teachers gave him a loving environment just like a big family.. unlike those previous childcare which fail to keep their promise.. They drew cleared boundaries and do discipline DS in school.. DS seriously enjoys going to school every morning.. As a working parent.. no parent like to see their kid cries and struggles to get into the school compound every morning.. we would rather see our child walk in to school happily and wave good bye.. in the last 4 CC, DS struggles and cries every morning.. he hates school..
but since he joins CH, he is a happy boy looking forward to goes to school..
This is my personal opinion.. I've no intention in offending any parents here.. :celebrate: -

hi e3nity, agree that we shld not judge by the uniforms. There r other factors like teachers, curriculum and environment which r more important. To Parents who judge a school by their school uniform:

It is good to know that there are parents who felt similarly and have good experiences with their respective CH centres. -

which CH centre is ur kid in?? mine is in charlton branch.. Didn't heard of the change in uniform.. is it a recent news? -
Hi, keendaddy and E3nity:
Agree with both of you. I just don’t understand why still got a certain of people only judge book by its covers. E3nity, I think CH change their uniform early in Jan this year, if I am not wrong. As long as our children are being taken good care, then I could concerntrate my work without any worries.
