No, no question is suaku. We are all learning.

No particular brands, as long as it's preserved orange peel, but I know that there is one that is commonly found in those tidbits shop, the wrapper is black in colour and it is usually sold in packs of 3 or 4 for a dollar or something like that.

              Hi justcoping

I managed to 'steal' a picture of the commonly found preserved orange peel for you. :celebrate: Shhhhhh .... don't tell the shop owner, okay? šŸ˜‰

                Thai Style Tuna Salad

                Things you need!!
                1. 2-3 Big Green Lime
                2. 2-3 Red Chilli Padi
                3. Fish sauce
                4. 1 bunch Coriander (do you decribe it as 1 bunch?? what i mean is a stalk with the roots)
                5. 1 bulb of small Red onion
                6. 1 can of flake tuna in water

                How you do it?
                1. squeeze the limes and set aside
                2. chop the coriander, chilli padi and red onion into small pieces
                3. drain the water awy from the can of flake tuna and put the tuna in a bowl
                4. mix the coridander, chilli padi and red onion with the tuna. (Mix well)
                5. add the lime and fish sauce to your desired taste.

Please note that you can change the tuna to top shell and other sea food.. you may add vermicilli if you like.. or even minced meat with some mint leaves.. and even tomatoes and cashaw nuts.. if its too spicy, add some sugar.. the quantity for chilli, limes and fish sauce depends on your liking.. If you like more spicy/sourish/salty taste add more..

Feel free to explore different ingredients..

I usually just toss whatever I hv on hand w the \"standards\" -- blanched broccoli, cubed apples soaked awhile in salt water to prevent discolouring, raisins, boiled chunky potatos & salad dressings diluted w fresh milk (a tip i gotten from a recipe book to cut down on the calories).

During recent CNY, I tossed in some reheated bak kwa pieces as well & the salad was v well-received. šŸ˜„ Other days, I tossed in some toasted bread cubes to make it more filling.

Green salads include leaf lettuce and leafy vegetables with a sauce or dressing. Other salads are based on pasta, noodles, or gelatin. Most salads are traditionally served cold, although some, such as south German potato salad, are served warm. I like caesar salad recipe.
