St Margaret's Primary

Anyone can share if those students studying in St Margaret Primary School are all Christian?
If we are non-christian, is it ok for a child to study in this school. We are worried she might get converted after 6 years of preaching & influencing -
Hi daddy2007,
I don't think all are Christians. I guess this applies to many other mission schools too.
Sorry to say, you might find that afterall, it is good to find out more Christ?
Just my personal experience.daddy2007:

Hi everyone, my daughter is already in Primary 2 in a school in bukit batok. I would like to transfer her to a girls school in order to secure 10 yrs of education…Ive been asking around about St margarets. I hear both good and not so good comments. Is there anyone who can shine some light about the school? My girl isnt academically strong. thats the main reason why I need to secure the secondary school as well

St Margaret’s is an anglican school. Tat means if you choose to put your daughter in this school, she WILL be exposed to Christian values and morals!
Not all of us are Christians, a majority of us are, though. We welcome non Christians but you must be open to the idea of your child learning about GOD.
We do daily devotion as per any other Christian school. Non Christians are welcomed to sit out.
@ little princess lnk : bukit batok seems a lil far? -

I have pm you. -
I understand that the students are tested on their basic knowledge before they are assigned to their class. Classes are categorised as
CHARITY
DEVOTION
GRACE
JOY
KINDNESS
PATIENCE
So which is the best class? -

Hi Plum cake
They are streamed for p3. Each level has 2 good classes, which mean competition is very stiff (6 classes of girls but only 60 gets thru). Based on last year’s results(as published in the booklet which was given out at the award ceremony) the good classes decends at each level (ie p 3:charity n devotion. P4 grace n joy etc). Not sure if they will change the system but a good rule of thumb, see which class the top three girls in yr DD’s class goes to. That should be quite accurate. -
2 yrs back, my friend whose daughter was in st margaret pri told me that
they have quite a number of relief teachers.
his daughter maths teacher was an example,
and she was juz an "A" level student awaiting for her results, (teaching upper primary)
of course the std wasn’t there. (inexperience ??)
wonder how is the present situation right now ?? -
