My DD attended ICR from N1 to K2 at Katong Mall. Btw, she was also with Pat’s during then and her phonics was pretty strong. Thus I am not sure whether it was ICR or Pat’s that helped her.


We moved her to BC from P1 (second half) onwards and as what most said, it is not academic at all. I am not sure why I have continue till today. Anyway, we will be pulling her out this May and I am also looking around right now.

My kid is doing her K2 this year

My girl used to study at a premium PCF kindergarten. She has creative writing at K1.

My girl could read long novels at 5 years old, so writing is easy for her.

I would advise parents to focus on teaching your kids to read very well first, and also make sure that they have a strong foundation in phonics. Otherwise, it will be a big struggle trying to train him on creative writing.
