2010 balloting statistics is for the 2011 Primary 1 cohort. It would be highly suspicious if someone is able to offer you 2011 balloting statistics for 2012 P1 cohort, at this point of time :? -

2011 P1 registration not even begun yet....... where to get the statistic? Unless someone can predict the future. -

 Oh.. i tot it 2010 meant 2010 Primary 1 cohort. okok.. so 2010 balloting is for 2011 primary 1. -

When you view balloting history, you roughly get am idea, but it is hard to tell how it would be since last year's registration proved to be so unpredictably scary for kids born in 2004...supposedly lowest birth rate. So last year's registration means kids are in P1 this year (2011). -

No one can predict... But the 'popular' ones will have balloting within 1km as usual. -

The year (2010) refers to when the registration takes place. For 2011 cohort, registration took place in 2010. Hence, the year 2010. -
i must say, if the history shows balloting within 1 km consecutively for few years, can be almost 100% sure history will repeat. but if the history says eg no balloting within 1-2km, it may or may not repeat.
u got to judge how many houses are within 1km of the school also, and the number of sch intake per year.
that is why catholic high - almost everyone is within 1km, so many houses heres. vs maris stella - not so many houses within 1km, and intake is 340, vs 210 in chs
plus in bishan, only 4 pri sch. whereas in toa payoh, quite a no of schools to choose from
