Hubby and I were at IMM as gal had extra class. Naturally legs brought me to popular. Wanted to see if there is any promo for Eng assessment...to my delight, there are grammar and vocab books from p1-6 (except vocab for p6). Promo only starts from 1st April...no apr fool joke. So I reserved to pay on sat. 4 for $10. EPH publications.

Hi plum-cake,

Just want to check with you regarding the Home Study English. Called Times to confirm stock but was told it is not by MC. Problem is there is no picture of the cover indicated. That Home Study English is good but there is no more stock at Popular.

I got the grammar and vocab books, not bad quite good. My girl likes it...

Yes My daughter enjoys the p2 one. Got the P3 as well on last tuesday cos 30% off. and their picture composition is similar to the school one. I'll check it again on monday if you like. cos I might go back on mon. (dd's school is near thats why I always end up there.)

Told hubby I wanted to go PS and got a scolding from him about not including his absolute cost (carpark and petrol) :x

Actually, I wanted to go to PS Times yesterday...tempted by 30% discount but staff couldn't tell me over the phone if there is stock for Home Study...thus I decided not to make a wasted trip there.

Called Popular City Sq outlet if they have stock for Grammar P6 there...apparently that outlet has, so asked to transfer it to Popular IMM.

The HOME STUDY is by Marshall Cavendish? Whoa, they really have a lot of new assessment books and I having hard time catching up

How do your find this HOME STUDY? Is it available in P3? I was doing Grammar and Vocabulary assessment book with DD1 this morning - she did very well and in a faster pace for Grammar but for Vocabulary, I have to sit with her for 1 hour just to finish one worksheet of 15 MCQs :x [Of course, that includes in between toilet breaks and snacks].
