In the end does your girl managed to go into SCGS?Hi, this is my experience with the school regarding PV last year
-
Hi daddy2007, my daughter will be registering this year (i.e. she will be in P1 next year) and we are not going to try for SCGS anymore since we could not do PV there, even though SCGS would be convenient for us. We are fortunate that we have other options, though further away.

My gal is now in SGGPS. We were lucky that there was no balloting required for < 1km for Phase 2C when we enrolled.
Over the past few years, I have been interacting with the parents and being "kapo", I also asked those who have done PV in order to get their gal qualified in Phase 2B on how they got selected and what are the tips.
They shared with me on what are the skills they offered to the school and what are the questions asked during the interview. I will try to compile the list and post them here for sharing… -
Hi,
1) I noticed that SCGS intake for P1 is 200 students. May I know how many students in a class? From what I see, there are normally 30 students in a class right, so it means there are 6 classes with 30 students, and 1 class with 20 students?
2) Is it true that SCGS do not accept PV? -
They accept PV now... U may go to their website and check...
Correct me if im wrong. -
