I share this with my colleagues and they all very angry too. It's not really easy to handle this. If you make the thing big like complaining to HOD, the teacher with bad attitude may do sth even crazy to your son. Maybe you should try to communicate with her again.
I received a phone call from the vice principal, Mdm Ng yesterday and she apologised on behalf. I think i will just make the matter a rest. Hope that Mdm Ng will really take action and really look into this matter as what she mentioned she will follow up.
I seriously do not want to make things more difficult for my son. She is already ignoring him when he actually apologised to her on that day she returned the racket.
Just wondering...will complaining a teacher fall on deaf ears or will this make the teacher angry and will likely take it out on ours kids??? -

U are right, \"cannot depend so much on the teacher\"My son was not doing well in his MT project work and in fact he failed. Few days before the PTM, the MT teacher called me and informed me that my son was failed because he keep talking in the class and did not finished the project work and the other boy also failed. I was busy when she called me and I just replied her that I will talk to my son regarding this. When I told my hubby about this, my hubby said then what the teacher doing in the class? Why can’t the teacher stop him for talking and seem like the teacher was not able to control the class.
When I checked my boy practice worksheet (the practice worksheet before the real project), there were lots of blank with no answer. I think the teacher should alert me in advanced the condition and at least I can guide my son what and how to do. I was so sad when I saw lots of red cross on my son worksheets. I really learn the lesson “cannot depend so much on the teacher”. After knowing the teacher is pregnant, I straight away enroll my son to go for Chinese tuition.
Anyway, I have a very good experience with my son P1 MT teachers (Ms Chai and Ms Zhou) and my son likes them also.
I went for the PTM and was told by the MT teacher that the whole class was very very bad in chinese language. I was then wondering, what caused the so bad result? The teaching or some other reasons???
For the \"show and tell\"....
It is actually testing on parent writing skill and art and craft. We should go back to school and study on how to write script for \"show and tell\" and art n craft lesson.
I was given a paper plate from my p2 and asked me to make a face of his best friend for show and tell. I was like.... huh????????? Then I ask him, can we just print his photo and paste on it? He said teacher said cannot just print and paste. LOL..... testing my human face drawing skill? -

Hi all,
My boys are currently taking bus 7 to school. The school hour starts at 7:45am but the bus come at 6:15am to pick them up. My boys have to wake up 5 plus to prepare. My P5 is still alright with it but for my P2, he is really feeling super tired and no mood to go to school every morning. Is the bus picking them up too early?
Anyone have the same problem?
Hi Flyaway,
my son is in bus 7 too his pick up is at 6.20am!!
so he must be after your sons .
Yes ,its way too early as they reach sch by 7am and have abt 45mins to wait n waste!!
I keep asking the bus 'auntie' for later pick up but she just smiles...ok maybe its because I can't speak Mandarin ...
Think we should push for a later pick up in the morning!! -

I had spoken to the school about this issue... the school mentioned about give and take such as bus 7 did provide after CCA bus services. For this reason, I guess I have to accept the early pick up time. Anyway, I decided to bring them to school instead of taking the school bus. Its really too early... no choiceflyaway:

Hi, I’m new here. I’m thinking of registering my son in dls this year.
I could be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that dls, currently at Teck Whye, is moving in 2012. Can anyone clarify? Thanks. -

Hi all... something to share

For those P2 Lasallians who took part in the swimsafer (stage 1) programme.
Please ensure your child bring some snacks to school for before and after swimming. It is not advisable for your child to eat heavy food such as rice, noodles before swimming. And the Q for buying food in the canteen are very long and your child might not be able to finish eating within the time given.
Let them bring some breads or cakes will be nice.
