HI worrymum,
Have you view the amazing start centre?
How you find the place? -
Hello Worrymum,
Did you go and view the Amazing Star at CCK? Upon stumbling into this forum, I have then, decided to pay that centre a visit.
Just like you, I live around the area and have been trying to find a Montessori CC for my 2 years old girl.
Having visited about 8 CC around the area (not all were Montessori), I decided to give Amazing Star a try. My girl has started for 1 week and I must say she is really enjoying it!
She only cried for the first day! And, my girl is not a very outgoing type.
The staff seem very friendly to kids and so far⦠when I go to the centre at the different timings, I have not seen them treating the kids badly.
And, I think the curriculum is not bad as well.
The only thing is that they do let them watch TV in the afternoon when they are waiting for the parents to pick them up. So far, the only place that donβt have TV is Faith Montessori at Hillview. Another CC that I like but it is too far for me. -

my gal is at amazing star for 1 wk+. which class your gal is? mine is at N1. For my gal, she still cries for the first few minutes before we said bye-bye to her. after we leave the centre, she's ok already.
so far so good except for some areas which I don't quite like e.g. not everyday there's green leafy vegetables in the menu, my gal told me that the teacher 'labels' a kid as naughty. all these i have feedback to the principal and she had taken note on it. hopefully, she did something about it.
there's school, Little Wonders at Jln remaja (off hillview) which I like. But, same reason as you... it's too far for me.
