      Hi Rejoice,

My children are doing Chinese enrichment classes at Tien Hsia. I know there are few other chinese enrichment centre that have such lessons. so you can find out more on their curriculum.

Interestingly, i just asked my DS - he said cannot drink water and go WC during MT lessonss

Thanks Astee. I will go look around. Still thinking if I should give DS enrichment class so early. But will do some research before making the decision.

I find that a bit strange to not allow children to drink water in the class especially recently the weather is very hot. Wonder if I should write to the teacher to find ou the reason.

Tomorrow is Tuesday. Hope it will be good weather and DS can join the swimming lesson. How is your DS? fully recover and can join swimming class already?

My thinking on the drinking water part is probably the MT teacher want to minimise movement and disturbance to the class. I trust she/he will know if the child is genuinely thirsty or just wanting to move around..

Yup, my DS went for his swimming lesson today and i think he came back with his classmate's pant iso his own...haha. πŸ˜›

LOL. So does he knows whose pant it is? DS came back said he was scolded by coach cause he did not know how to keep himself floating. At least I am glad he went to swimming lesson.

They are going to learning journey tomorrow. Are u volunteering again this time? TG is quite on got LJ. One of my friends her girl only went for LJ once this year for P1. It is good to have the kids go out and get close to nature.

dS ask me to go on the learning journey tmr but I din receive request for PV. Anyway not easy managing so many kids.. Hee.. So better to take a break this round but I must say I'm very happy with his FT. It was a good opportunity to see how the trs interact with the kids.

                  Hi Rejoice,

No this time round i am not volunteering. I was there this morning to see the class off and one of the class was left behind because of Bus no-show. Poor kids, seeing all their peers heading off and they still waiting patiently for the Bus... πŸ˜›

Sigh. My boy got himself lost at Science Center yesterday. He got distracted and wondered away by himself. Now he is quite famous at school :-(. I gave him a lecture over this issue. However we are still relief that nothing more serious has happened. Hope his learns his lesson this time.

                        Hi Astee and Porky30,

The Swimsaver program is over. Do you intend to let your kids join swimming outside? I am keen to let my boys learn swimming. Looking at maybe starting in June school holiday. Will give the coach a call to find out his timing.
Tests will be starting next week before the long holiday. I hope all the kids will do well in the coming tests.
