2009 P1 Registration Exercise for 2010 In-Take

Grassroot leaders will be still subject to balloting if demand exceeds supply so I think for parents who qualify for phase 2B and lives within 1 km, you don have to worry so much.

Based on past trends, only StNick and CH balloted under 2B for those staying within 1km. Good news is StNick has 11 more places this year under 2B. But CH no chance, surely need to ballot within 1km as 10 places less this year.

Anyway this is the list of my prediction for balloting under 2B this year :
StNick, RedSw, Temasek, ATS, CH, MGS, NYPS, PHPS, ACS(Jr), DLS, Southview, TNS, SJIJ, NCPS, StHilda, CHIJ(TPY) and PCPS.

Close on the borderline are CHIJ(Katong), HPPS, RGPS, KHS, CHIJ(OLTN), HIPS, Rulang, ACS(Pri), Gongshang and Chongfu.

Let's see how many I get it right hee

The 2B result will be out on 24 Jul, for those schools need balloting for phase 2B will have to conduct the balloting before or on 24 Jul?
In fact, i will have to register in 2C, but i know the desire school sure need balloting for P2C, so my question is the balloting execise will be carry out b4 the result day or on the result day? it is the whole singapore carrying the same balloting date or depend on the schools?

Pls advise, so that i can prepare myself for the big day —balloting.

Balloting would be conducted on or before the results day. Not all schools do it on the same day though most will do it on the results day.

Hi does anyone have an idea which CHIJ is better…Our Lady of Good Counsel of Our Lady of Nativity. Both are convienient for me and need to know which is academically better. As we are Catholics…will register in Phase 2B. Both schools assured seat as previous years no balloting at 2B.


OLN is a bigger school compared to OLGC in number of admissions. Pls advise.

Thanks for your reply, then now i know i have to reserve leave on the result date. Just prepare to take 1 full day. If i success via balloting, then have to go shopping, makan to celebrate. If not success, also have to go shopping, makan to release stress. Ha Ha Ha -----

I need urgent feedbacks for St Anthony’s Canossian for this upcoming P1 registration. Planning to send my girl to this school but I called up the school briefly twice and both times the replies were very curt and unfriendly. Do they keep close communications with the parents if the staffs are so unfriendly? Please help! Many thanks!!!

hi Anna, actually you dont have to witness the balloting process. The school will inform you whether you are successful or not.

Yes, i aware that i no need to go to witness, but for my character, i think sure i will go on that day, otherwise, \"body in office, mind is somewhere else\". The school will inform via post right?
