If there are 2 books to compare, then have to stand for longer time. Popular is not Borders, can sit down to read.
Don't worry, you won't get blacklisted, but remember not to sit down or the staff will go after you.
Haha..Janet, thanks for the reminder. Like what my hubby always tease me,\" You so big-size 😒 , sit down you will take up \"more space\"; block the way and get scolding before the Popular staff comes after you!\" :rotflmao:

Popular staff will not allow you to sit down. That's the policy from the top management.

Popular should tie up with Maybank for credit card...

FYI the Maybank Family & Friends credit card has a tie up with Popular, Cold Storage, NTUC, Guardian etc, there's a 5% cash back when it's used at these places : http://info.maybank2u.com.sg/personal/cards/credit/family-friends-platinum-mastercard.aspx

Popular cashier told me no more 5% discount for Maybank credit card
I enquired at another outlet cashier also told me the same thing

              Hi

FYI for those interested - I just enquired with Maybank on whether the Maybank card Popular 5% cashback is still valid as stated on their on-line application form. They confirmed that it is, and that this scheme is administered directly by the bank, which is different from those which Popular itself may have had in place previously, which is an upfront 5% discount. Don't actually remember if there was this scheme previously by Popular.

Anyway, just glad that there's still some incentive to use the Maybank card at Popular πŸ˜„

Great to see that. So I still enjoy normal 10% at Popular and 5% from Maybank...10 years free subscription for Maybank Family & Friends credit card.

Hi Mummies with children in upper primary,

May I know what titles/authors for assessment books do you buy to prepare your children for CA/SA pls ? I’m getting a little worried preparing my son for his CA/SA as everything will be tested from this year onwards.

                    Hi Janet,

For science, we use past year top school papers to prepare for sa and ca and that is already quite alot.

                    All the best.

                    Regards
                    Leanne

I went through Science PSLE exam paper to see what kind of answers are expected. Answers provided are really detailed and what I like are the explainations to support the answer. Will ask my son to get 2011 next year.

                        Hi Mummies,

I know we use past year exam papers to learn/study for CA/SA.
Earlier, I mentioned that Teachers' Circle doesn't seem helpful...definitely a mistake on my part. I read some questions in Science P5/6 and going through the answers πŸ˜› at the back. There are explainations provided beside the answer and mark allocation too.
