          Hi,

M staying in yishun and has options of Northview ( within 1 km) and Chong fu pri ( 1-2 km) and Northland pri ( 1-2 km) , pls suggest the appropriate school ?
Also would like to know more about Chong fu pri, like their student population and focus ? Is it more inclined towards chinses students?
          Just a concerned parent.

          Thanks,

Hi which phase would u be registering in? If u are registering under phase 2C, then chances of getting a place in CHongfu or Northland would be pretty slim as both schools historically would ballot in 2C for those staying within 1km. If u stay 1-2 km then you would not have a chance to ballot at all.

seems that yishun schools are not that popular to talk abt :? other than ChongFu...hmmm

after considering so many neighbourhood schools, in terms of location & academic progress, i find that Jiemin Pri & Yishun Pri seems fine with me & i've decided to enrol DS during this year P1's registration. with Jiemin Pri as my 1st choice, are there any parents out there care to share on ur views? any parents who child are with Jiemin or even Yishun Pri? tks.

u mention about the academic progress of the 2 sch…i am curious to know based on what findings you know about the acad progress of yishun pri? and did you check out abt ahmad ibrahim pri?

i am thinking of yishun pri coz other than not wanting to stress her by putting her in a gd sch, yps has student care and the nearest to parents place. bet yps and ahmah ibrahim pri, i have no idea which is better. do u?

hmm.. i nvr check out ahmad ibrahim...head there's lots of students crashes within that sch..heresay only..

i based on the sch website nia... but looking at their achievements, the school's academic & CCA progress shdnt be that bad. like u, i do not want to stress out DS by putting him in a 5 star sch.

i chose yishun pri & jiemin pri due to lcoation: both within 1km from my place..actually ahmad ibrahim also lor...

so how, u decided which sch yet? where is ur DD currently studying at? sekali same kindy as my DS
