oh isit ?? so prob one day i may run ito her....hahaAugmum:
the simei one.....near east point
Oh, schweppes mentioned in the bread thread that she goes to that branch too.
For me, it is either the one at Hougang or the main one at Sims Avenue, but I prefer Sun Lik to PH, so would rather accummulate all my stuff and get them from SL at one go.
oh ya, she seems MIA too.
btw, where is Sun Lik, do they have branches like PH ??
last time, when i stayed at kwtong, i used to go to the one at Haig Road, dunno what is the name of the shop. -
25hourmaid:
i luv shopping at JB,
Ya, you are right, suspect they ordered a small quantity to test the market, but decided not to contine after that.Augmum:
ya, sometimes those provison or tidbits shops do sell those \"unusual\" dried fruits,
but once the stock run out, tu don't find them anymore.
JB really have more tidbits than here.
Yes, JB definitely has more tidbits as compared to here.
i 'll def able to find something \"ususual\" stuff there,
besides, tidbits, i like to source for unusual sauces for cooking. -
Augmum:
Yes, think schweppes must be busy. She did mention in one of the threads that she has been :imdrowning: with work, I think.oh isit ?? so prob one day i may run ito her....haha

Unfortunately SL has no other branches, one and only branch at Seah Street, managed by a rather stuck-up husband and wife team. Go to the Bakeware thread for address and opening hours.
The one at Haig Road, is it Gim Hin Lee that you are referring to? I go there once in a while too. Again you check out the address at the Bakeware, quite sure it is the same one that we are talking about. -

Seah street ?? not convenience leh....think i'll still stick to PH. -
Augmum:
You are most welcome, but I think the location at Seah Street is quite a put off for drivers like yourself. I don't drive but I know that parking there is a big headache, judging by the narrow street and the number of cars trying to find a parking lot there.thanks for the info....ok will check it out at that thread when i need to get something.

ya, i dislike those places who has limited parking lots and the worst with only parallel parking lots.... -

Then you better stay away from SL. It's definitely parallel parking along Seah Street.
-
Augmum:
Ya I went there once and was lucky to be able to get a parking lot with no car in front of me, so that made my parking much easier.25hourmaid:

Otherwise, you can park in Raffles Hotel, but got to make it quick, since their parking charges are quite expensive.
