:salute: & Kudos to you, Janet! You are a very hardworking and dedicated mummy! :celebrate:...I have the stack of Top Schools 2010 Exam papers with me but have not started reading it...Will definitely have to do it soon before it turns into \"recycle\" papers :lol:Hi Mummies,
I download and print out all the past year papers for Science, then fill in answers so that time is spent explaining to son...no point getting him to do the OE when he doesn't know. His MCQ is quite ok but OE pulls him down. These 2 weeks, I've been busy printing out all papers from CA1 to SA2 since these questions will appear anyway.
Thank you, Janet - for sharing! -

I'm fortunate my son enjoys Science...this year, we are warming up for PSLE...crucial year in 2012. Then focus on younger one who will be in P3 when he goes to Sec 1...hope she takes to Science easily. -

I don't remember myself being so hardworking during my schooling years[
MOE made me go back to school  I simply detest the system.
Basically this is force-fed.
And for Science - during my time, we have only the Science Book to rely on so how come now the system requires that we have to have at least one guide/assessment book to supplement the textbook? I never like to look into my DD's Science txtbook - more pics that words!

If any parent here still has their primary school textbook with them {TREASURE}, take out and compare with our child's textbook now - I believe you would agree that, during our time - the notes in the textbook are very comprehensive! 8).....

I really admire your stamina & dedication into the collection the Science Assessment & Guide Books :celebrate:.....I am doing it bits by bits else my DD1's cabinet will be overflow with Science Assessment/Guide Books and she will definitely burst into
.....
I want to start now that DD1 is in P3 - I am quite \"a slow learner\" in many areas so I take more time than anyone else to absorb information
...I still have DD2 who will be P1 next year and a little toddler coming 2 years old so beta prepare early while I still \"young\" :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Hi Champion,
I think I have enough Science assessment until son goes to P6…if his teacher orders Science Explorer for the class, then it’s not my ‘job’ to make sure he does it…my son has ‘mastered’ the art of ignoring my collection of assessment books.
Ok, I bought Conquer Science P1/2 and plan to start coaching my gal (P1) when she is more adjusted to school…now, she is still very very playful and doesn’t bother to read the whole sentence b4 filling in answers. -
I can't stand it anymore..... reading all these postings about this book being so Gooooooooodddddddd........
Thou shall not wait any longer.....die die tomorrow must go Popular to get the Ultimate Science Guide.
Need one advice tho....I have a P4 DD and P5 DS......should I get 2 separate books i.e Lower Block and Upper Block or just the Ultimate PSLE Science? Will more details be covered if I get 2 separate books?
Looking forward to tomorrow :rahrah: -

4) Ultimate Science Guide - [color=darkblue]THIS IS A MUST BUY & GOOD INVESTMENT that I must agree so far ..Detailed and comprehensive notes and guides - easy to understand for someone like me who is weak & learning to love Science all over again
Again - This is just my own opinion; no prejudices/preferences whatsoever

YES YES!!! I am going Popular to buy tomorrow
Just one advice required......I have 2 kids, P4 & P5......better to buy 2 separate books ie. Lower & Upper Block or just PSLE? Will 2 books cover more?
What would you do?
