Can someone kind enough share here what is the current pay for Indon maid going into 3rd year of service ? Thanks !
My Indon. maid started with SGD400. At the renewal contract ie. 3rd year, we raised to SGD 450. Now with the new increased pay, we have up it gradually to SGD500. Now into her 4th year with me it is SGD550. With her next renewal of contract half-a-year later, I will up it to SGD600 (ie. into her 5th year). -

Our helper are not willing to renew her contract with us unless we increase her salary from $370.00 to $450.00 :x

Knows How to Cook Very Well,
Bonds Very Well with ALL my Kids,
Speaks and Read English (to the Extent that She Devours ALL the English Novels I Have at Home .... Mind U, Adult Fiction, Not Kiddy Stuff) ....
And She is Paid Less than $450 ....
And This One, I teach Till Vomit Blood, And ....
She Will Just Look At Me and Says, \" Sorry Mam, LUPA Mam ....\"

No need newspaper when they go down with the kids or go supermarket can chit chat and oredi know the latest news which is not even there in newspaper or not even we know of :shock:
So far, I have not let my new maid go out on her own or entrust my toddler boy with her alone.
Maybe ignorance is bliss to some employers. Oftentimes I saw maids chat for hours on the playground and let the kids run/roam about. Before I go 'marketing' - they are there and when I returned 1hr later, they are still there. -

Understandable.... To err is human.
However if she make the mistake 3 to 4 times per week then I don't think that is pure mistakes.
Usually I will question my helper when she make the same mistake over again and she will always reply me \"I forget\".
Right now whenever she forget again, I will \"nag\" at her every hour until she can remember. :oops: -
