The laptop is at the service centre now. The service centre staff told me they can waive the service charge if I leave the laptop at their disposal.
I told my boy that money is not the issue now. The culprit needs to step forward and admit his misdeed (whether done out of mischief or jealousy). My boy is not the show-off type, I cant imagine who is so naughty to do such a deed. -
The hse master just replied to my sms update on the laptop- "the head of boarding is investigating".
To all students who will be boarding or are already boarding now, please conduct your behaviour wisely according to the rules and regulations of the boarding school.
And must keep your possessions in the locked cupboard whenever you leave the room. -

I dropped handphone accidentally into toilet during warranty period - Nokia also just changed a brand new phone for me. Same cannot be applied to computer? My motherboard spoiled during warranty recently too, and it was changed by HP at no cost.

!!!!!!!!!!!! Why he put in microwave!??!!! I took my handphone apart and air-dried it with table-fan blowing at it - hoping it would work again. It did - for a very short while, then died again. ;( So I sent to Nokia.
