Hi, I'm back frm my USS adventure!
I converted my 1-day pass to a 2-day pass cos my children just couldn't get enough of the roller coasters.
Last weekend was not too crowded esp yesterday. we could get onto as many rides as we wanted (& mostly 1st row seats) & waiting time is mostly 5 min (only a few rides are abt 15 min of waiting)
The lockers FOC period varies with queuing time. Usually, it's good for 1 ride but becos yesterday was not crowded, we were able to go for 2 rides with the FOC timeframe. 2-days is just sufficient to explore the park thoroughly & get enough of the rides IMO.
The food in USS is seriously overpriced which is expected. However, the plus points are that they have watercoolers at all their restrooms areas & FOC lockers and the staff are mostly polite & helpful .
Yeah, I think getting an anual pass may not be worth it as there are too few good rides for my older children. I don't think we will go there again till another year. Just wait for some promo on tickets to go, like they are having 20% off for mastercard holders now. -
Hi Sparks, is it very troublesome to convert 1-day pass to 2-day pass? Any discount for doing that?

Hi, I went to convert my 1-day pass to 2-day at end of day 1 at the customer service counter. There's no queue at all. (The crowd thins towards end of day.). You just need to top up the difference for a 2-day pass (which is cheaper than buying 2 1-day pass).
Enjoy! -

Are we allowed to bring food into USS? Most theme parks don't allow right? They do bag check. -
When I was there, I did see some pp eating their prepacked food. I also brought in some breads I bought from breadtalk in my bag.
They didn't check my bag on both days. Think so long as you are not seen carrying a big pot of curry in to feast on, they don't mind. -
Thanks Spark, for the info.
I recall in Disneyland they check our bags, not sure if checking for guns or for food
.
I'm keen to bring the kids there but I really dread the hot sun. Besides, I don't take the rides as they make me sick so I'm paying to go into USS just to look after their bags

Hi Faun, there are not many rides in the first place. Half of the attractions there are performances/shows. Though, we were there for the rides but on 2nd day, when it got too hot, we went for Shrek 4-D (indoor) & Steven-spielbergβs special effects shows, which were equally enjoyable. Itβs also rather charming to watch the outdoor singers entertaining the crowds & movie characters moving around. Ticket is not cheap so try to relax & have fun lah!

Hi, Anyone knows when will the dedicated section on Magadascar be opened to public?
Last Dec when I visited USS, there was only that 5-min or so performance by the Magadascar characters. There is supposedly a special area on Magadascar, so just wondering is that area ready for visitors already?
Intend to go to USS again before the end of the Mastercard promotion, but too bad it will end just before the school holiday....
Thanks
Rgds,
