My boy refused to eat the oats I cook. I think he cannot tahan the thick and sticky consistency. He actually made a vomit sound today when I tried to feed one spoonful to him! :!:

I love mine and was slurping it up and gave him some hoping he will like it too but no go...I will try making very watery oats and see if it works on him! 😐

My DS was the same. He finds it too bland and doesn't even like the smell of it. But he luvs the peanut-butter version which I posted earlier. Give it a try.

Yup, my son gags when its too thick, so I've learnt to dilute it with more milk.

I sweetened mine with fresh or dried fruits.

Some quick and easy to make breakfast which a fav of my DS.

              Banana choco Sandwich:
Spread Nuttela on 2 slices of bread. I use gardenia wholemeal. On one of the bread slice, place banana slices(sliced like wafers). Cover with the other slice of bread.

              Avacado Foccacia Sandwich:
Cut up a 4\"-5\" piece of foccacia. I use gardenia foccacia bread. Slice this piece horizontally to get two slices. Spread slices of avacodo to cover it. If avacado is too mushy can even spread a thick layer like butter. Sprinkle a few sliced olives. Put in a dash of salt and pepper. Dribble a tsp of olive oil. Cover with the other slice of foccacia.

P.S: These can also be packed for the recess. šŸ˜„

I may just make them for myself ....

Toasted bread with peanut butter and thin round banana slices is also my favourite. Of course not too practical for school going kids. :celebrate:

Gee, it is \"good\" to know that so many kids here also don't like thick oats! :rotflmao: Yes, I read that you use fresh and dried fruits in your oats! Will see if this works for my boy...
