Actually, I subscribe to another school of thought. I think it is only meaningful to do PV only for schools that you have a fighting chance to get in, ie. schools that are within the 1km or 2km radius to your home. It will be terrible to spend all that time doing PV only to find that you don't even get to ballot in Phase 2B.[/quote]Yeap agree to that... I’ve called RVPS up to ask if they have open houses. Nothing planned yet. But they said that we can call them to fix an appointment for a guided tour.

Given RVPS’ location plus our plan to send DS1 to before/after student care, it just seems impossible and impractical to register DS1 there. Somemore P1 pm session, P2-P6 am session, makes it more troublesome to plan. DH and I racking our brains last night just to think about the dropping/fetching arrangement.

What will be the child’s pick-up arrangement like should he/she be studying at RVPS? Anyone able to share?

Guess if you want to have BASC then the best option would be either ZhangDe Pri or Gan Eng Seng Pri. RVPS location seem to be disadvantage but it is still very well sought in every year.

Yes, they do take in PV. I think they may have close their this year intake (ie. for year 2010 registration). You may check with the school

Do bear in mind that unless you intend to shift in to live with your in-laws ( sure anot? ), your in-law's address if using the caretaker's route will be considered as 1-2km application instead of <1km application. FYI.
