I came to a agency who i took a maid from them, as i have with maid for so long. i understand nowsaday it’s very hard to find a suitable maid who is hardworking and obedient. Until i found this agency that really helps me to resolve my problems, i can’t say they have the good maids but they always there to offer help when problems arise. I met a few agency when i got problem, they will say call me back but will not recieve from them but this agency always be the one stepping out. I’m happy with the serivce with them

Filipino maids are more demanding and expects a lot more (esp the experienced ones). Very ya-ya one.

I do not have one.....but based on observation, I do agree. Also, they are demanding too. When I was hiring one to look after my FIL, the first question is : Do I need to handwash the clothes!! And even tho she was already transferred 3 times, she rejected me cos' need to handwash my MIL and FIL clothes. Also, asked for a room to herself. Wow, glad I didn't hire her. And when I finally hired another person 2 weeks later , I heard she is still unemployed.
PS : But I believe, some are ok eg. my neighbour's....but of course, has deteriorated over the years esp. once more and more friends/relatives appear in SG.

Indon maids - not very detailed in cleaning and suka suka. I'm a hygiene freak cos of young kids so I can't tahan lor. Cannot tell them sala one, else will cry big time & boycott when not happy. sometimes duno how to please them.
I have 3 previously who completed contract. Quite agree, not very detailed in general. However, one of them did have some initiative and she's the more educated one. After a 3 year break, now my 4th due to FIL. Mai-hiam can still pass, but tend to destroy things when she become 'hardworking' cos' they dunno how to use proper strength sigh.....so pro and cons huh. Just keep blinking your eyes, see some, forget some 🙂 But generally, I still prefer Indo, simplier......but they are getting smarter and smarter and have lots of tricks up their sleeves too.

Myanmar maids - language super lousy. smart ones very keng one. but at least can tahan scolding though they wouldn't apologise. very strong character one. slower in learning (takes about 4 - 6 mths to pick up) blur ones super damn blur. oh... they spoil your things & keep quiet one. At least Filipino & Indon will tell you & apologise.
Dunno about them, but the few I interviewed, damn pissed with the attitude. While interviewing one, I refused to continue further after 2 questions.....it's OK if she didn't understand, it's the refusal to acknowledge, refusal to look at the agent or me in the eyes & even after interpretator steps in, she just black face and turn away!! I hope no one hired her.
