Thanks Spark, for the info.
I recall in Disneyland they check our bags, not sure if checking for guns or for food
.
I'm keen to bring the kids there but I really dread the hot sun. Besides, I don't take the rides as they make me sick so I'm paying to go into USS just to look after their bags

Hi Faun, there are not many rides in the first place. Half of the attractions there are performances/shows. Though, we were there for the rides but on 2nd day, when it got too hot, we went for Shrek 4-D (indoor) & Steven-spielberg’s special effects shows, which were equally enjoyable. It’s also rather charming to watch the outdoor singers entertaining the crowds & movie characters moving around. Ticket is not cheap so try to relax & have fun lah!

Hi, Anyone knows when will the dedicated section on Magadascar be opened to public?
Last Dec when I visited USS, there was only that 5-min or so performance by the Magadascar characters. There is supposedly a special area on Magadascar, so just wondering is that area ready for visitors already?
Intend to go to USS again before the end of the Mastercard promotion, but too bad it will end just before the school holiday....
Thanks
Rgds,

I just came back after a 3D2N stay at RWS (we chose Festive Hotel) and it included a 1D ticket to USS. The weather in Singapore is the killer and add that to a 2 year old kid and a pregnant wife, not really a fun trip.
I would probably not return to USS for a long time. Being drench in perspiration while waiting for rides is no fun at all… -

That's exactly what I'm afraid off, the hot blazing sun
But have promised to bring the kids so just go once, at least.
Wish we could catch the promo but my kids effectively have only 1 week free from school activities during the June break so going on 17May. Also took up the 3D2N deal.
Hope to try the luge and other activities on the island. -
Faun:
From your post I presume they are at least primary school level and above. Think they would have more fun as they can go for more rides and appreciate it better. My boy is too young. Even the \"spiders\" in the Shrek 4D show scared him.roamingglass:

To be fair, I think its manageable. The queue are sheltered and sometimes indoor airconditioned.roamingglass:
