Yes, she is still having her weekly violin lesson and preparing to take her Grade 7 exam next year as she needs to focus on PSLE this year.

My DD is the key member of the school string ensemble and is the longest member as she joined at P1. CCA typically apply for P3 onwards.

I have requested for a testimonial from her school CCA teacher-in-charge.

My dd wants to go to their open house so i will make some enquiry then.
Then ask her violin teacher to write a letter to certify that she is currently working on Grade 7.

Anyone had experience on NJC dsa, can share about their ability test. I read from their website applicant needs to take their ability test. to find out more about NJC ability test.

        Quote from website:
All applicants will be selected to participate in Selection Phase 1.
The Ability Tests will comprise the followings: Mathematical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and Abstract Reasoning. Candidates have to sit for all the tests on the same day.

        Thanks for any sharing.

So may i know if i have a chance for dsa to NYGH?? and i just want to know if the dsa for eng for NYGH is hard?? is it MCQs or open ended? i think it is MCQ according to my common sense( cause they dun have the time to mark it)...

both RI and HCI do not require personal statement. In fact, HCI does not even require nicely prepared portfolio.....same for RI.

I know of people who last minute filled in the data online, print out, stapled the certs, and that's it ! One very interesting case for RI DSA - the boy only attached a catalog of his work in an exhibition and he got in
