They are not the maids but the agency so anything can happen. sorry but i wouldnt believe thier tactics

Ya.... Must be their Sales tactic.
Or maybe their Maid Loan are much more longer than other maid agencies.

I totally agree with the Myanmar maid having strong character part.


Do you know even the burmese employers (my ex-colleague) told me that its very hard to get a good burmese maid these days. So it takes to one to know their own type.

Well, now I totally agreed with one of the member that reply earlier in my post for recommending a good agency. Everything goes well if you dont hv problem with your maid or any other issues but once you need their help to resolve something, they become very unhelpful.


I was calling my previous agency to check if the insurance refund can be collected, the staff said will check and call me back but never call so I call again the next day and insist to speak to the manager cos the staff dont know anything. The manager immediately sound very impatient and as thou I am a nasty employer. They said will be ready in a months time and that is why I call. She simply refuse to give me any collection date but I persisted and finally she said will pay me first as its not a lot of money…so rude…but that is a lot of money to me as my maid did not come back and of course I had to claim back as much as possible…

I had interview 4-5 transfer Filipino maid in her agency and all not keen to work for me. The agency is at Far East Shopping Centre, 5th floor and they now only handle transfer maid. I felt they had become high class agency and full of high class maid cos there are sort of quite popular with foreigners so I think the maid prefer them instead of Singaporeans employer.

Yes i agree with you, now filipino maids are so proud and demand alot of things. so now i prefer to take abit of hardship and got a indon maid.

Similar experience with maid agency in Tanglin Shopping Centre. The maids there want to work for expat families or families who give them a lot of freedom etc ==> Lazy and bad attitude. Staff there also has poor attitude.

I checked on this agency before!! Basically, they are ATAS... even from their webby.. the owner was promoting that he does alot for expat families! So, I am not surprised that they are like this... they are not even keen for middle class families in SG...

I'm also on a lookout for a good agency.. my current maid wanted to continue her contract for me initially.. but just today, she woke up late.. and when i asked her if she really wanna work, she told me she wanna cancel permit! Sigh.. not like she is super good.. she has been giving me headache for over 2 yrs, and i've been tahan-ing her... and for the sake of saving time (me and my hub just changed job in these few mths, so we are really kinda busy with no time to train).. we wanted to continue with her.

Grr... so, now i am in limbo and must find a new maid ASAP before her contract ends in June!!
