Learning Vision

Seems like all LV centers are increasing their fees by $100! My daughter's center is also increasing....
I went to LV at RP to look around. Place is not bad but they are at full capacity meaning very crowded and I jsut wonder if it's going to be good for the children. Be prepared for long wait list unless you are the staff of RP. -
Yeah they increase the fee by $100 across the board. My boy is at LV@Raffles Place. So far he is enjoying school.

Hi, I’m looking for infantcare and childcare for my 2 kids in raffles place area, and understand there’s a learning vision at cecil street. Wondering if anyone has placed your kid there, and any feedback pls?
TIA. -

LV @ Cecil Street has moved to Tong Eng Building and is now called http://www.learningvision.com/centres/cecil.Hi, I'm looking for infantcare and childcare for my 2 kids in raffles place area, and understand there's a learning vision at cecil street. We put our boy with them since he was 6 mths. He is now 26 mths. Their infant care is really good. Of course its not perfect and there are some minor things here and there but overall the experience was good.
Childcare wise not as good as infant in terms of experience but close one eye still not too bad. Most parents who's kid came from infant to childcare overall felt their infant care good but childcare has room for improvement. Partly also as the class/ratio are bigger, attention to each child is lesser (compared to infant). Also pretty teacher/class dependant (some parents feel this teacher not as good as that teacher, but I think its a common sight everywhere you go).
For us our expectation not very high. As long as my boy enjoys going to the school, that's what matters most. -
Tku vm for prompt reply roamingglass. Does the babies at infant care fall sick frequently? And do you know if there’s already a long wait list for the infant care?

I'm not sure about the wait list. Better to call them and check. The Principal is Audrey and administrator is Jenny.
As for falling sick, yes he does. In fact he is still falling sick regularly. I think it is to be expected that when you send your kids to centres (be it infant or childcare) they are bound to be sick for at least 1 year. They get \"introduced\" to a host of viruses and when 1 kid in the class get sick, it will merry go round. You just have to be mentally prepared.
But if you can accept it, you will find sending them to centres early has a positive impact of their behaviour. I wrote a http://roamingglass.blogspot.com/2011/01/good-things-about-childcare-center.html on it beginning of this year, have a read when you free. -
Hi, I intend to send my 18mth boy to LV@IBP. Any feedback about this center? Any parent having your kids there? How do you find the teachers there? Any comments about the curriculum and food?

Hi hi, just will like to find out about Learning Vision @ Alpha. Currently have a daughter with them. How is their cirriculum? Recently I feel like my daughter doesn’t really like to go to school and when I reach school at way past 9am, I still see a lot of classes not started yet. Sometimes after 9.30am I look around and only some of the classes are conducting lessons while others, the teachers just walk around leaving the children to free play. Also, I find that the teachers always seem to come late and they end up taken over by a relief teacher.
Any comments? -
Hi, I read in the previous posts that LV at Changi Biz Park has high teacher turnover. Is this resolved now? Looking for a N1 class for my girl and I am thinking of the branch. Of course, if she likes the place, will let her stay till she graduates from K2. Can I check if the curriculum prepares the child for P1? Also, are there any enrichment classes at this branch and how much they are? Thanks!

Hi, I’m thinking of enrolling my kid at LV@Republic Poly.
Does anyone have any experience with this center? Thanks!
