          Hi, need help with this question:

          Isaac was reading a book. On the first day, the number of pages he read was 2/5 of the number of pages unread. On the second day, he read another 24 pages of the book. As a result, the number of pages he read was 5/9 of the number of pages unread. If he had to complete reading the book in another 4 days, what was the average number of pages he had to read a day for the rest of the book?

          Thanks!

          My first reply seems to have gotten lost...

          1st Day
          Read : Not Read
          2 : 5
          4 : 10

          2nd Day
          Read : Not Read
          5 : 9

          (Equate the total of both days since total number of pages should be the same.)

          5units - 4 units --> 24
          9 units --> 24 x 9 = 216
          216 ÷ 4 = 54

          Hi Yu Xuan,

          Very clear explanation! Thanks for your help! 😄

                Hi

                You may follow the following steps (using Flickr in this example)

                1) Do a print screen of the question you want to upload.

                2) Edit using paint. Cut out the portion of the question you want to upload.

                3) Save file in pictures

                4) Go to Flickr (Free sign up as member). Upload file. Select biggest size. Right click copy URL of image. You may also use other storage media.

                5) Coming back to KSP, click insert image button and you are on your way to insert image.

                If the question is from past years papers from top school, you may give the question number with a link to the school’s paper.
