Is it possible to know the number of students who are currently staying within 1km during last day 's registration? Will the school tell us? This information will be very helpful to gauge our chance and decide if we still want to carry on..........:?: :?: :?:

Call the school tomorrow morning. They will definitely tell you the info you are asking for, so that you can make alternative plans.

Not true, I called up some schools today and they said dunno can't tell the numbers.

All this is new to me but if i read it right, schools like rgps, henry park, nanyang still have vacancies in phase 2b. So that means if those who pv, sure get in one by now under 2B?

Perhaps they have not compiled the numbers for the day yet. No school wants to set parents on a wild goose chase. If they already know that balloting will occur for under 1km and you are beyond 1km, they will advise you, so that you can make alternative arrangements (assuming you have another school you can go in Phase 2B).

I really hope so they can tell. Been freaking stressed today cos I registered under 2A2 earlier, but the sch is 45min away by car (yes am not kidding). We PV for a nearby sch but stats now shows chances not high. So I am still trying to decide if I should withdraw from earlier sch and register at PV sch assuming they tell me there is a chance to ballot?


But problem is the sch cant even tell me got chance ballot or not! If withdraw no chance to even ballot how?

Yes... should be 4:30pm.

LittleLambie, if you are within 1km of the school, you will definitely get a chance to ballot in Phase 2B if a ballot situation develops for that school. No guarantee that you can win the ballot, though.
