Hello All
Myself Rashmi and I stay in Serangoon Central. I’m thinking of registering my son to Kinderland, Serangoon for nursery. I went through the earlier posts and haven’t read good feedback about this school. Do I have any other choice? or is there a chance that this particular school has become good and I can think of it now? BTW, I have spotted one more school in NEX , CS Montessori. Does any one have any feed back about this? Also, please let me know if I have other choices around Seranggon Central for Nursery and K for my son. Thanks. -

My dd is in Kinderland Upp Serangoon K2 this year. She only joined them in K1 as she was transferred from Kinderland MP. So far we are quite happy with Kinderland Upp Serangoon.
There was a stage before we joined when they were plagued by teacher turnover. But right now, it appeared to be pretty stable. Also the new Vice Principal used to be from Kinderland MP and she has been working for Kinderland for many years.
My 2 older kids went through kinderland program. Though they might not be the most academic program around, I think they did well in terms of love for learning and school. My kids ease into primary school easily and still enjoys school. -
@MMM Thanks for the reply and it sounds better for me now. I remember hearing that their phonics and maths are not so appreciable. I’m not sure how much I need to worry about this for 3 years old. In case I choose this for my son then we would prefer him to continue with K1 and K2. Just worried, what choices we have for languages here. I’m yet to visit their school for enquiry. If I know more + and - about their teaching, curriculum, cross culture communication then it will be easy for me to streamline my questions and clarify all my doubts. do you have any suggestions for me?

Hi, I’m unable to PM u.
My personal reasons for withdrawing my girl are the health and hygiene standards and the attitude of some of the teachers and the principal.
Anyway, I’m glad that I made the decision. As after I notified the principal about the withdrawal, I noticed my girl’s teachers started to show a "can’t be bothered" attitude towards my girl and me. I must say there’s a lack of professionalism in them. -

Hi, thanks for your comment. Finally, we also decided not to send our boy to SK. All kids there are seem not happy, teachers look very tired, during the two days there i did not see a smile on their faces. So we are looking now for another toddler school.

Can anyone recommend a kindergarten where friendly teachers and kind principal. Safe environment and outside territory with a playground?
Thanks in advance. -

Hi miffy,
I also just withdrew my boy from Kinderland SK. My boy was in the youngest grp. He was there since Feb and we had a change of teachers. Also the teachers also do not bother to update anything in the communication book. Worse still, my boy suffer a huge deep bite on his cheek by his peers, all these under the teachers' nose!
Was quite disappointed with the service and hence withdrew my boy. Now I sourcing for a playgroup..how abt u? -
Heard Sesame Street will be coming to singapore in septemer for childrens’s day! so excited! any parents interested? The schools should bring in some fun activities with the parents involved during june holidays too…that would be fun…
