I also thought of Raffles G at the beginning, but it's too far from my home. Even if I have the lucky to get in , it's a big trouble for my girl to go school everyday, she will get up earlier, and spend more time on the road. I think that was not good for a 6 years old child, so think and think, I decide to choose the nearst school - radin mas or CHIJ Kellock, if her performance is well, maybe I can think a way helping her to get in Raffles G in a later stage (that is my dreaming), heihei... :oops:

I wish you all the best in whichever your choice is. I am also hoping and praying hard for my eldest girl!

The worst thing is, I wont be around during the result announcement in 7/8/08. I am off for Business trip. But I will make it back for the supp phase though. *Finger crossed* that I do not need to participate in phase 2C supp!

Think you should try ZhangDe Phase 2C.Confirm able to go in where don't have to ballot. CHIJ, Radin Mas is like depend on luck.

Any advise which school should I try? My location against these schools are as follow:

(i) Radin Mas Primary (1Km-2Km). Places = 113
(ii) River Valley Primary (Above 2Km). Places = 93.

Understands that both schoos arel very likely to enter into balloting situation in phase 2C. Really very stress up now! :oops:

I live within 2 km of the following school : River Valley PS, Radin Mas PS and CHIJ Kellock. Right now I still not make up my mind to choose which one but next tuesday I need to choose one. ANyone can give any good adv to me?? My personal preference is to choose a school with good result in both chinese and english. Which one is better?

I read alot of comments on schools in Bt Merah like GES, ZhangDe, Radin Mas & CHIJ Kellock but do not seems to find any comments on Blangah Rise Pr Sch. Anyone has any comments on this school ? The take up rate for the past few years and this year are very low - wonder why ?

Maybe it's because nobody talks about it :). I have absolutely no clue about that school at all.

Just did a check on Blangah Rise Primary School, still have about 259 places under Phase 2C.

Blangah Rise Primary = 259
CHIJ (Kellock) = 95

They are all good schools. CHIJ Kellock is strong academically in both English and Chinese and is affiliated with CHIJ St Theresa's Convent for Secondary schools. Chance of balloting for 1-2km for RVPS is high.
