I am not sure what other types of vegetables and fruits parents feed their babies…
As I feed my baby usually corn, broccoli, cauliflower and potato.
For fruits, she eats apple and pear.

Children should be introduced to many different types of foods so that they can have more to choose from and also have a balanced diet. However, you should always check what is recommended for different age groups due to developing digestive and immune systems at different stages of their lives. I think one of the links I posted above will provide a link to a guide for this.
Also, you should always introduce milder foods first and avoid additives like sugar and salt. Milder foods may be gentler to baby's stomach and also taste. If babies get used to sugar and salt too early, they will refuse unsweetened/unsalted foods. Salt and too much sugar are actually harmful to babies so do use them with care and moderation. For my DD, even though she is already 7 yo, we still dilute her juices even when it states \"No Sugar Added!\" on the carton. We do the same for ours too.
Remember to introduce new foods one at a time, in small amounts and with familiar foods. This will not overwhelm baby and he/she may be more receptive towards trying out new foods next time. Wait for a day or two after feeding baby a new food and observe/monitor him/her to see if there are any allergic reactions like fever, diarrhea, rashes, vomiting, etc. If everything is fine, you can give the new food regularly and in more amounts.

P.S. Forgot to add that some foods may cause constipation in young children. My DD suffered from it when she took corn, applesauce (not apples), rice cereal (not rice) and bananas. Her doc said that some kids are like that and will eventually outgrow this problem. We searched online and found a list of foods to avoid and informed our parents as well. We stuck to this guide for a long time until we were very sure eating these foods do not cause her pain anymore. -
I read that avocado has 20 nutrients and my baby loves it! For a 7 mth old baby, you can blend it with milk or just mash it. For toddler, you can spread avocado on the bread.

When your baby is 6 months old, you can introduce solid food to him or her.
For us, we give rice soup, then some fruit Purée like apple pear and avocado purée.

Wait for at least three days before you introduce new food to make sure your baby does not show any adverse reaction -
For snacks, my kid loved baby bites, those wafers that melt in the mouth. even I found myself snacking on them once in awhile.

My child tried avocado when he was baby and it gave him a faster bowel movement.

4 months - cereal
6 months - fruits and veggies
9 months - meat
is what my son’ s pediatrician told me. But after 6 months he had 8 teeth and I could pretty much give him anything soft that I knew he could handle. He’s 11 months now and doesn’t even eat baby food anymore. He just eats whatever I make for dinner. -
Rice cereal is Okay for a 4.5 month old. other baby foods shouldn’t be given until 6 months of age. A lot of doctors will tell you NO solids should be given until 6 months of age, cereal included, but every baby is different. If your baby has tolerated the cereal fine thus far then try some of those cookies and maybe some multigrain cereals. Stick with the grains until your baby is 6 mos old and let her digestive system mature enough to handle the veggies fruits and meats. Vegetables are the best to start with, it’s harder for a baby to digest the fruits and meats. Plus once she has the fruits, you’ll never get her eating the more bitter veggies.
