oh my gosh!! Luckily someone saw it. Why would someone copy and paste in their blog!!! What if we talk bad about government!!! Then what happens?? Phew!! Luckily I never say anything bad!! Eh, wait a minute… now no government already right.
Aiyo!!! anyway it seems that the blog owner may be a member of Kiasu parent forum… going through the blog also seems to reveal that the blog owner is really furious about the government’s treatment towards FDW’s in Singapore. -
celtricia, my colleague’s ex-indo maid also sms her on her birthday and even asked to see her kids over web-cam because she misses them. My colleague suspect the ex-maid wants to come back to work for her. She didn’t bother to return her sms. Maybe your maid also wants to go back her ex-employer?

peapot.. it doesnt worry me since i've already sent her bak.. but from wat she told me.. though i dun trust 100% of wat she said.. she dun wan to go bak there coz it is too far from home.. singapore is nearer.. lolz..
she said a lot of stories.. to my MIL and mum.. trying to buy their hearts.. but too bad it din work out..lolz.. -

Same same. They try to show the 'GOOD' side and claimed their ex-employers will tell them before they end, if decide to come back to SG to work, must call them. Mine also. But of course, as time goes and you'll know they contradict themselves a lot. Mine just claimed, she was paid $400 in 2007 when the info I got from agent when I hired her was ~$300 and she only completed 1 yr in SG, that's all. Think trying to get me to up her salary :roll: I have already up once when she hit 3 months, the next will wait till 1 year completed.peapot:

This article was in the newspapers about a month ago. I advise all employers to read it to understand how maids are recruited in Indonesia, and to be prepared for fewer maids who are willing to come to Singapore.

Cwc, your maid quite smart to inflate her previous salary if you have already upped her salary once and she still feel not enough.

Anyway, she has been secretly using the home phone. I oredy know her pattern, everytime I go out, she'll ask me what time come back or you'll hear a ring then nothing. So once I leave house, phone engaged. Anyway, home phone usage jumped from 2x, 3x, 4x and now 5x (so now it's like, everyday 30mins of phone usage). I have made sure no IDD calls is allowed, so if it continues to jump, I'll have to tell her off liao. -

Good news... we confirmed on a fresh indo maid! Just gotten the agent's confirmation today that she is blocked by us now. Yipee!!! :celebrate:
My hubby interviewed her on Sat morning.. and she understood his English... so, that's a start... :lol: we are crossing our fingers and toes that everything will work out well..
but of cos, gotta think abt the training etc when she comes!!
Am thinking abt the CCTV next... and then packing my current maid off!! Strangely enough, she has been working sooo hard these few days! Think my hub's prediction is correct! She told me she wanna go home cos she thinks we will KEEP her!
Now, its backfired and we will let her go... -
