      Haha..LKVM,
DD1 told us that they were supposed to help to prepare for the performance from 2nd recess (10.00am) and till 11.00am. She managed to grab a bite for recess and later on had lunch at 1.00pm. A good exposure for her and she said hope for another opportunity to perform ๐Ÿ˜›

Yes, regarding the climbing of the rock boulders - the P3s also experienced that and she wrote it down in one of the book (but I can't recall which is that? PAL Book?)...

Yeah its good for the kids.. my DS also enjoys it :celebrate:

what is he doing now for PAL? not sure if they do the same thing or change vendors after feedback?

I cannot understand from him exactly wat they do but he says they need to bring the pyjamas and they do some type of rock climbing  but he enjoys thats all he can tell me :|[/quote]haven't replied to this! ๐Ÿ™‚

oh perhaps it is the bouldering module? ds1 had this consent form last yr too, something for parents to sign and then they informed us the dates they have to wear the track pants? if it is this, then it is similar. ya, ooh, the boys love this so much.

i asked about the dance module for P2, the tr says we can go to watch the performance at the end of the module. champion, did you go last year? did your dd do this dance module too?

what is she doing for PAL now? and how did the piano playing go? what piece did she perform? so exciting and fun!

i'm not sure too. is it this tiny thin book? if so, ds1 told me it is to write down new things that he learnt. maybe for different levels it is diff. perhaps P3 more on writing the full experience?

LKVM, ya ds1 won't be able to tell me the details too, voluntarily, but usually I keep asking and asking (very curious, or kpo) so manage to piece together what is happening.

still, i was very surprised to know that all the painting of murals, piecing of mosaics and different art techniques last year was actually done by the LPN art school.

cos before entering P1, i had friends who told me that is a very good art school and i had contemplated sending my boys there, but found it far. so when i saw his cert from LPN, i was pleasantly surprised. the price they charge the school is so much more affordable too, than if we sent him alone, and he gets to enjoy with his classmates. more fun!

Haha..frankly speaking, I don't know what my gal is doing for PAL lessons now ...Probably because I didn't ask? Or she too tired to tell me about it? She has been coming home with lots of homework and ususally I will just ask about how's her day in school and the homework she need to complete .

Errrr......which piece she played? Again, I don't know leh! Haha...very bad Mummy hor! ๐Ÿ‘… She told me it was one of the music piece she learnt from her Yamaha School and one of her favorite :rahrah:...

Btw, kabby & LKVM - did you attend the workshop held last Saturday? How did it go? I was unable to attend due to job assignment ๐Ÿ˜ข but am thankful that two of DD1's classmate Mummies took the notes for me! So appreciates! :grphug:

that's great that someone took notes for you!

my hubby went. ๐Ÿ™‚ i was so glad we signed up. dd was not feeling very well and she was more cranky than usual so hubby went. he brought home the notes. he said there was hands on for the model drawing and problem sum solving, which was very useful and he even asked the teacher who was walking around to help parents some Qs. ๐Ÿ™‚

i filed the notes properly after reading. really very useful as reference.

Hi hi, hope u all still remember meโ€ฆ i am not missing from here, infact i do log in to see any new comments very often and questions that i want to ask already post here.

Actually, i need advice, my DD suddenly tell me that she wants to change school and i was shockโ€ฆ

I asked her whats the reason, she says last friday during the Act n craft class, there is one classmates (Malay boy), was wearing apron, and the rest the the class is not wearing. And some of the students was laughing at him (i think) which include my DD.

After this incident, the boy went to tell his sister who is in the P4 class about this. And since this week Monday till ytd (Thur), the boyโ€™s sister keep saying off my DD during recess time. And she even tell my DD better go "see" her on next Monday recess time at the canteenโ€ฆ

What is this? Is this threatening?

My DD cry when she is telling me this issue and she says she is very scare becoz the boyโ€™s sister very fierce when saying her off. and has been scolding for four days alreadyโ€ฆ

I will go down to the school personally on Monday, but still thinking whether do i see the teacher first or should i wait till recess time and see what the gal will doโ€ฆ

                  Hi summergem,

Wow, new look to KSP forum, took me some getting used to. I canโ€™t seem to find the "quote" button for highlighting your msg, so anyway here goes:

Maybe you can bring it up to the form teacher, and/ or P/ VP?

Indeed it sounds like a very unpleasant experience for your girl! Poor girl, to receive such a "threat".

Let us know what the outcome is?

Hope everything goes well for you and her! hugs!

                    Hi Folks! :dancing:

This forum has been quiet for quite awhile - everyone busy attending rallies? :imcool:

Have been wanted to share this newsletter with you all but kept forgetting  ...Guess due to the preparation of SA1 with DD1 and mind was too occupied with many things to remember ๐Ÿ˜“ :scared: .....

This is the 1st newsletter that I received for the past 3 years! :yikes: ...But I must say this is a good effort & hard work from the new P + teachers getting this artwork out :hugs: ....

For your pleasure reading, please! :celebrate:

hihi! i missed you too! :hugs:

thanks for posting the newsletter. i received one too, so nice, i love it. i think it is a good thing to keep us more informed.

btw, just to let everyone know that i have gone through every single page in this forum and edited all my posts that contain any references that are personal pertaining to my son or your kids.

eg if i had mentioned expatmom's son in a certain class, i would delete that post. i also edited the 1st pg summary to list only the levels. hope this gives everyone more security.

some moms have pmed that they would edit their posts and requested that i help remove their kids' class or other personal info too. this is in the light of the earlier harassment and mistaken identity case.

also happy to inform you that my matter is solved. no more mistaken identity or harassment.

i wasn't that busy with rallies, haha, more like a little scared to come in and volunteer info, since in the past i had been very forthcoming and shared a lot but attracted attention of the wrong kind.

hopefully if it becomes more peaceful i will relax and let my guard down more and start to share again.

truthfully i felt quite hurt that fellow parents can be so mean and rude to another parent who has done nothing against them but instead patiently kept explaining i am not that person they think i am. so i need some time to get over this...

thanks champion for making this thread lively with your post again! ๐Ÿ™‚
