                Hi ladies,

Can I ask for those with bread machine, the beep sound for adding the raisin, nuts or choco chips sound after the kneading process or before?

Around 20- 30 minutes after I press start?

for me, after the bread is ready, i let it cool for a while and then slice. i usually bake my bread in the early evenings (around 6-7) so that it's ready by about 10ish. I don't put in the fridge as we have the bread for breakfast the next day. There are 4 of us and we can finish the bread by then.

no need to press \"start\" again. after you hear the beep - open the cover and add the ingredients. After that, just close the cover and let the machine work its magic. πŸ˜‰

                      Morning everyone!

schweppes, what I meant was, when does the beep sound actually comes on?
Because ytday night, I tried to wait for the beep sound for 15 minutes after I pressed Start. Then I got impatient  and left the kitchen, by the time I went back, it was 25 minutes over already and the dough was starting to knead. Being unsure whether the beep is over already, I simply pour in my choco chips and let it knead together with the dough.

So I started wondering whether the beep sound is before or after the kneading of the dough. :?

Check the manual. It gives you the precise timing of when the beep goes off. It's after the first kneading.
