Check the manual. It gives you the precise timing of when the beep goes off. It's after the first kneading.

      Hmm... :?
I read the manual a few times leh....never see that portion on the beep timing. Maybe I should go read again.

      :thankyou:

          LKVM:
Let me try to answer this one... when you press start button the dough will start to knead and knead.. maybe after 15 mins it will stop to knead.. then ard 30 mins you will hear the beep when you have to add the choco chips or raisins.. i think it would have start to knead again and during this time ur ingrediants will spread evenly.. close the cover and wait for another 2 hrs + and ur bread is ready...

          I hope this helps...
LKVM, you mean your bread machine starts to knead right after you press the Start button?
Mine don't leh...mine will be at the rest mode for don't know how many minutes before it starts kneading...Is there something wrong with my machine? :?

          Thanks for the reply! :thankyou:

If you look at your manual, p9, the graph at the bottom shows the procedure. It says after about 30min, \"ADD BEEP\". So the beep will sound after about 30 min. This is for Basic Bread Setting Regular.

for me, after the bread is ready, i let it cool for a while and then slice. i usually bake my bread in the early evenings (around 6-7) so that it's ready by about 10ish. I don't put in the fridge as we have the bread for breakfast the next day. There are 4 of us and we can finish the bread by then.

Then must toast arh? My kids like soft fluffy bread... πŸ˜“ so I don't put in fridge unless inevitable ... I end up finishing the loaf that's in the fridge always. Tried making bread with Pullman tin but not successful, bread cannot fill up tin n doest fluff. 😒

That looks like the most \"recognisable\" plain bread I've seen so far in this thread. Good job!

Your loaf of bread looks lovely! May I know what brand of breadmaker are you using? It's a horizontal pan? Is it a Kenwood?

This one looks like from the traditional bread shop that we used to buy bread from when I was young, not so home-made like as the pan is quite different n the crust as well, Well done!! Cannot be L-learner anymore.... πŸ˜‰
