I got a property within 1km of Chong Fu as well and my current one within 1km of TNS. I wouldn't want these schools to shift anywhere! -
Yah… the 1km was a plus point when we bought this place as my parents used to stay just opposite TNS (those flat behind the CC) and they just love the area so we needed to get them a new place that is in that vicinity. Just read on this website that the price for the HDB flat has gone up but not sure if that applies to original state.
Our own place is within 1km of HIPS and 1-2km of Rosyth (unintentional at that point) but I gather it’s always good to own property within 1km of popular schools. -
If SHHK issues the recommendation letter for Phase 2B of P1 registration, will they send to all 5 Primary Schools under their care, or just to one, and do we have a choice on which one?

You need to indicate your primary school choice on the application form for recommendation under Phase 2B i.e. you can only indicate one primary school that you intend to apply. -
Thanks. Then that’s a bit risky as I understand that the final list who gets recommended is only decided very late. PV looks more secure but the numbers who gets accepted is very limited. Grassroot option also out as I currently stay out of the area of our choice Primary School. Hmm…will have to take chances one way or another.

The TNS teacher told the class that it's going to be a 8 storey building with lifts! sigh... but i'd rather they stay put and not move cos it is soooo...ooo near my place now!!!

grassroot option is worth considering as it is not tied to any particular school...
