      wkong,

For your first qn, I think is option 2
For your 2nd qn, I think is option 1 ie no change since both food and water carrying tubes are not removed.

Need advice for this garden bottle's question, DS's answer is 1, but the answer sheet was 3. Should we look at 'limited nutrients' or 'self-sufficient'.

          http://i54.tinypic.com/2hyf3fa.jpg\">

          Who made the correct statement(s)?

          1) Tom only
          2) Siti and Raju
          3) Alice and Tom
          4) Alice, Siti and Raju

          Thanks,
          wkong

            Hi wkong,

I would say that 'limited nutrients' and 'self-sufficient' can be viewed differently. Alice talks about the rate of growth, while Tom talks about the period of survival. Hence, although the concepts are related, they are different. Both are correct. Hope it helps!

                Hi

When water is heated to 100 degrees C, it boils.

During boiling, water changes from a liquid to a hot gas called steam which is invisible.

The white clouds or mist are actually tiny water droplets floating in the air. These are formed when steam loses heat to the surrounding air and changes back into water as it cools. The change of state of steam from gas to a liquid is called condensation.

                Best wishes
